Wooderson (Matthew McConaughey) and Slater (Rory Cochrane) are in deep thought alright…alright, alright.
So is this guy.
Not much going on in the heads of Benny (Cole Hauser) or Randall “Pink” Floyd (Jason London).
I love the fact that I’m getting hit with a triple dose of vacant face and open mouthedness.
Benny has got his evil-eye on the prize here. O’Bannion (Ben Affleck) and Mel (Jason O. Smith) were not ready for that sharp turn. Apparently nobody wore seatbelts in 1970′s Texas.
O’Bannion strikes fear into the hearts of boy-men.
Benny considers the ass-paddling more of a fun recreational activity. O’Bannion takes it perhaps a bit too seriously. Take a look at that scowl.
Maybe I was wrong, O’Bannion seems to be REALLY enjoying himself here. He ain’t the only one.
Don (Sasha Jenson) looks like he just saw a ghost. Mel is doing his best rock star impression. The Texas tuxedo sporting O’Bannion is just soaking it all in.
Excerpt from the Dazed and Confused script:
Don, O’Bannion, and Mel all make faces of varying absurdity.
Peep Mel’s follow through face. He just put all of his weight into this swing. Look at the power seeping out of his pores.
This guy’s faces are consistently awesome. It almost pains me that he hasn’t done much since this movie.
O’Bannion claims victory on this Freshman raid. Seniors 1, Freshmen 0.
I wouldn’t blame you for only noticing the in-focus grills, but Jason London is dropping a 80′s hair band styled bomb in the back seat.
“That’s what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older, they stay the same age.”
I showed up for the Don grill, but left with a side of Mitch (Wiley Wiggins).
O’Bannion has switched out of his Texas Tuxedo for this beating, and jumped into his authentic South of the border button-up.
Meet local grease ball Clint (Nicky Katt). You may remember him as the douchebag boss from Boiler Room which I happened to be watching today.
Mel is hitting me with solid gold, but Pink saw fit to break out the razor-sharp chin action. It’s glorious.
